Origin Story

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

Welcome to Fort America, a profit-driven enterprise offering numerous opportunities for those that want to be modern day pioneers in this new frontier we find ourselves in. Who desire to be accountable to, and embrace that which our founding fathers left for us to pass down from generation to generation. That want to be a part of the vision to not only survive, but to thrive as individuals, and as a community that believes in individual liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and the rule of law. So we dedicate ourselves to ensure that our heroes always have a home to return to.

A little about me-
It all started with both parents working, and our grandma who took care of us by putting us to work on her acre of land. She hired a guy with a tractor to create the watering rows, then, we as a team, did the rest. And when it was harvesting time, there was more than enough for us, so we went door to door in our neighborhood and gave away all the produce. It was fun, and on top of that she paid us for our work.
later in life as a Navy veteran, and field service IT professional, I got to spend time at the US Consulate in Juarez Mexico from ‘86 to’ 98, where I learned about the pitfalls of the immigration system that was in place at the time. Would be immigrants to the US would often fall prey to false attorneys, who would charge thousands up front and disappear.
This got me thinking about ways to change this process for those working to come to the US, and then later on, I realized that we also needed a way to get people out of the US who did not assimilate, or did not desire to remain here. To then get them reunited with family, and potentially provide them with training that could help them thrive back home.

As a former president of the west El Paso YMCA, and as a church volunteer hosting all our guest speakers, and performers, I started catching the vision from movers and shakers from around the world. From every walk of life, from every level of financial health, to great organized outreaches, and the impact that they were having in their chosen missions. I saw firsthand, that if you want to make the greatest impact, you need to partner with a church, and/or businesses, in order to get it done right, and for the least amount of money. But as for me and my big dream of Fort America, I honestly could not see a way to get it done. It wasn’t until COVID, when I found myself looking for income on the internet, that I stumbled upon an organization called the Warrior Rising Academy, then Vet to CEO, and finally Bunker Labs. In the process I met Theresa, John and Mike, and Lexie. Then, this past March I spent a few days with my daughter Chrysta in L.A., where she not only encouraged me to move forward with the project, but she agreed to help me build it. Shortly afterward we met Mitchell, who gave us the inspiration to commit, and to know that with these tribes of warriors, it was well within the realm of reality to pursue such an undertaking. Then, we reached out to my long-time friend Chris, who owns his own company, and frequently does mission work abroad.

The objective-
What was originally thought up to be a place for housing and training immigrants, has turned into an idea for helping our heroes and our fallen heroes’ surviving families. Not only that, but to also create a way for our own citizens to reconnect with the founding principles of our country.
As one looks into the root causes as to why, for example, immigration systems are broken, and why our own kids don’t expect to have the American dream that we expected to have when we were growing up. One comes to the conclusion that there no longer exists an accountability and reverence toward our nation’s founding principles, those individuals that made our country a reality, and those who still protect it today.
 Simply put, our educational institutions have both, abandoned their own founding principles, and failed to teach our children. One, what made our country great. Two, why our republic is a much better system than that which they now espouse!
Meanwhile the mainstream media, and politicians have rallied toward an anti/hate America agenda, and have an apparent desire to polarize our country and tear it apart.
For these reasons we have reached back in time to our founding, and have decided that by working with the defenders of freedom, we can once again, build communities based on our country’s founding, and the American dream engine, that is our free enterprise system. Together we can lay a new foundation in 2024, as was done in 1776.
